How cashing out works
DevEx is how Roblox pays creators real money. Creators are the people who make games and items. They earn Robux when players buy things from them.
Roblox pays $0.0038 for every earned Robux. You need at least 30,000 earned Robux, which is $114.00 at that rate.
Only earned Robux count. Robux you bought, got as a gift or got from a transfer cannot be cashed out. Some people call this page a DevEx Robux calculator: it turns those earned Robux into dollars.
A payout of 100,000 Robux pays $380.00. If PayPal pays you outside the US, it keeps $8.60, and $371.40 reaches you.

Why some Robux are paid less, and some more
Robux you earned before keep the older rate of $0.0035. Roblox pays these out first, before any others.
Since , Roblox pays $0.0054 for US 18+ Robux. Those are Robux spent by US players who proved they are adults, on passes, developer products, subscriptions and private servers.
Roblox pays those US 18+ Robux right after the older ones. The rest are paid at the standard rate. Type your older and US 18+ Robux under More options, and the calculator follows the same order.

What the payout costs
Roblox pays through a payment company. If you choose PayPal outside the US, PayPal keeps $1.00 and 2% of the payout, at most $21.00.
In the US, PayPal keeps $0.10 and 2%, at most $1.00. Bank transfers, wires and cheques have fees too, which Roblox shows only when you ask for a payout.
If the money is changed into your own currency, the payment company keeps between 1.9% and 3% more. The calculator shows that range under See how it adds up.
Tax on a DevEx payout
From , Roblox treats a DevEx payout as a royalty. It may then keep back US tax before it pays you.
The day the money is paid decides, not the day you ask. Roblox recommends asking for a payout by .

How to cash out

You must be at least 13 years old, have a verified email address and have 30,000 earned Robux or more.
Ask for a payout
Open the DevEx page of Roblox and choose how many Robux to cash out. You can ask once each calendar month.
Fill in the payment details
Roblox's payment company asks how to pay you and for your tax form, a W-9 in the US or a W-8 elsewhere.
Wait for the check
Roblox checks every request. The first one takes about 10 working days, and later ones about 5.
What this calculator cannot know
- Your balance. Type how many of your Robux are older or US 18+ under More options. Your Creator Dashboard shows them.
- Tax. It is left out here. From it can make a payout smaller.
- The fees of a bank transfer, a wire or a cheque. Roblox shows them only in its DevEx portal, so type yours under More options.
- The exchange rate on the day you are paid. An amount in your money is an estimate at the rate of .
- Changes to the rates. Roblox has changed them before, and we update this page when it does.
