How Roblox subscriptions pay
A subscription is something players pay for every month, such as a daily bonus in your game. Roblox subscriptions can be sold for Robux or for real money.
Sold for Robux, a subscription pays you 70% of every payment, month after month. A subscription of 500 Robux a month pays you 350 Robux each month.
Sold for real money, it pays you Robux too: one Robux for each US cent of the price. You get 70% of it in the first month and 100% in every month after.
Roblox takes platform fees off first and does not say how much, so those figures are the most that can arrive. A subscription of $4.99 pays at most 349 Robux in the first month and 499 after that.

You choose the price yourself. The lowest is 49 Robux a month, and Roblox keeps 30% of each payment.
Every month pays the same. Roblox holds the Robux of each payment for about 5 days, as it does for game passes.

Why subscribers who stay matter
A subscription pays again every month a player stays. For one sold for real money, the months after the first pay the most. So a player who stays long is worth more than a new one.

Roblox paid access
Paid access means players pay once to get into your game.
Sold for Robux, the price can be from 25 to 1,000 Robux. Roblox states this range but not your share, which we take from other sales for Robux.
Sold for real money, paid access pays you money, not Robux. Your share grows with the price, as the table below shows.
Roblox holds that money for at least 60 days and then pays it once a month. A player can ask for a refund within 48 hours.

Subscriptions for real money can be bought on the website and in the phone apps of Apple and Google. Paid access for real money can be bought on a computer or the website.
Roblox does not sell either one for real money in some countries, among them India, Indonesia, Russia and Türkiye. Players there can still pay with Robux.
